  1. Original 12' shellac, white paper labels printed in green. First pressing, in the original unprinted sleeve. A pristine copy. Houswed in an elaborate and secure, quarter green morocco folding case.

  2. First edition, first printing, regular issue, limited to 1000 numbered copies printed on Old Antique Dutch paper (there were also 29 casebound copies, each signed by the author); large 8vo; initial letter, tail-piece and cover designed by the author's daughter Lucia; publisher's cream wrappers, titles to spine in blue decoration and titles to front wrapper in blue, black and silver, with the original silvered card slipcase titles in silver on a pink ground. Spine a little faded but a lovely copy in the slightly defective slipcase.

  3. First edition, first impression; 4to; decorations by J. D. Fergusson; publisher's green cloth, device to upper board by J. D. Fergusson gilt, titles to spine gilt, with the dust jacket. An unusually nice copy in the very slightly faded dust jacket with a single, short tear.

  4. First edition, first impression, first issue binding; small 8vo; mild browning to endpapers as always; publisher's green cloth, titles to upper board and spine gilt, housed in a quarter green morocco solander box. A spectacular copy with the merest of rubbing at the tips.

  5. First edition, first impression; 8vo; folding plates of the facsimile of the original notes and manuscript; publisher's quarter red cloth, over grey boards, titles to spine gilt, paper label to upper board, in the original matching grey card slipcase.

  6. FIRST EDITION, no. 3 of six numbered copies of 50 COPIES ON PALE GREEN-TINTED PAPER, from an overall limitation of 850; 8vo; title previously detached cleanly at gutter now with neat reversible tissue paper repair to verso, chip from fore-edge of a preliminary blank leaf, slight separation at upper hinge, bookplate to front pastedown; publisher's black cloth lettered in gilt on the spine and with triangular gilt design on upper cover, top edge gilt, presented in morocco-backed, cloth drop-back box.
