Quentin Blake Illustrated Books
Quentin Blake is for many the preeminent children’s illustrator alive today.
Having written or illustrated over 300 books, Blake is best known for bringing to the characters of Roald Dahl's books to life.
His style can best be described as freewheeling, anarchic and scratchy yet also infused with a dynamic, playful warmth – he tells stories without the need for words. Beloved by children and adults alike, the first editions of his works are now highly collectable and as such are always to be found on the shelves at Shapero Rare Books.
