  1. Limited edition, one of 30 copies hand coloured by Miro, signed by the author and the artist on the verso, from a total edition of 100; one leaf, unfolded, small oblong 4to (11 x 27 cm), lithograph heightened with watercolour, pastel and india ink on wove paper, lower right corner slightly creased, otherwise in excellent condition.

  2. First edition. Folio, xii, 361, [1], pp., 41 engraved plates, some double-page, engravings in text, occasional light browning, contemporary russia, covers with wide gilt borders, spine richly gilt, a very handsome example.

  3. 2 vols, 12mo (185 x 115 mm); engraved frontispiece to each vol. and a further 11 plates including 2 folding, mild, marginal corner creases to some leaves, small pinholes to lower corner of p. 156 and one corner chipped to p. 38 in vol. i, printer's error omits pagination of pp. 265 - 268 in vol. ii but text still complete, all in all exceptionally clean and bright; modern half calf over marbled boards gilt, lettering pieces to spines, most attractive; x, [2], 237, [1]; [6], 299, [1] pp.

  4. First edition; large 4to (34.5 x 28 cm); 2pp. subscriber's lists, 48 hand-coloured plates (44 aquatint views by Havell, Stadler, Bluck and others after Westall, Mackenzie, Pugin and others, 4 stipple and line engraved costume plates), some slight offsetting, green silk endpapers, a.e.g.; finely bound in orange morocco, doublures with green silk, boards gilt ruled with floral detail to corners, spine in six parts with raised bands, a little faded, gilt title and tooling, an excellent copy.

  5. First edition, one of 500 deluxe copies signed by the publisher and with an additional etching bound before half-title; 4to; additional etching, portrait frontispiece, colour plates, captioned tissue-guards, illustrations, scattered faint spotting; bound in full decorative green crushed morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, small patch of discolouration to lower fore-corner of upper cover, but overall fine.

  6. First Edition, limited issue; one of 500 numbered copies, specially bound and signed by the author and Hirst who designed the dust jacket; 8vo; patterned endpapers; publisher's red cloth, with the laminate dust-jacket designed by Damien Hirst, a fine copy.

  7. First edition, signed by the artist; 4to; tipped-in 'toxicological report', 2 folding plates, illustrations; publisher's red cloth with gilt flow-chart to upper cover, printed paper sleeve, a near fine example.

  8. Limited edition; large folio (648 x 928 mm); with 19 original full-page etchings by Elisabeth Frink with aquatint in black on J. Barcham Green paper, Hors De Commerce Copy, 1 of 25, numbered D276 [with] artist's signature in ink at rear; publisher's full green cloth with gold-blocked bird design on the front cover; cover worn at extremities and little mottled, one part of one ribbon tie shortened, otherwise internally, a fine set.

First edition, 4 vols; folio (46 x 35.5 cm); 8 hand-coloured engraved titles, 4 engraved leaves of dedication, etched initials and head and tail pieces, 437 etched and engraved plates (of which 182 hand-coloured, 77 double-page or folding), last plate in Vol. III with minor worming, occasional minor spotting or offsetting, a few plates slightly shaved, text in French and English in Vols I-II, English engraved title in Vol. III with repairs to verso; handsome modern red morocco to style by Aquarius, green morocco spine labels; a fine set.

  10. First edition, limited edition, one of 1250 on papier hollande, 5 vols, a complete set; 8vo (22 x 14.5 cm); 184 numbered colour pochoir plates with two supplementary un-numbered plates, text in French, advertisements; original blue printed wrappers laid over later boards, an excellent set.
