First French edition; Tall 4to; 38 (37 full page) black a& white photographic illustrations, loose pages; publisher's cloth, pictorial dust jacket, nicked along the edges, torn with some loss on the top edge at the rear, lower edge at the front, small closed tear on the spine.

First edition, folio, (447 x 315 mm); half-title, 125 Blanquart-Evrard process prints, printed tissue guards, 3 engraved plans (one double-page), contemporary half morocco gilt, rebacked preserving spine, lightly rubbed, all edges gilt.

First edition, landscape 8vo (28.5 x 19 cm), pictorial lithograph title, 20 original photographs mounted on beige surrounds, printed captions beneath image, tissue guards, all edges gilt, original red cloth decorated in gilt and blind, upper cover and spine utterly faded and lightly soiled, photographs clean and fresh with good tonal range.

Landscape folio (35 x 55 cm), [16] ff., colour lithographic title, 6 calotypes, 76 lithograph plates (some in colour) with 5 lithographic duplicates on tissue tipped in as guards for calotypes, plate 68 on a different paper, trimmed and tipped in, folded map. Title and subsequent leaf with soft crease and dust-soiled, letterpress leaves with light foxing and occasional soft crease, map with short tear, modern blue half morocco gilt, marbled sides, a very good copy.

First edition. 8vo., x, [1], 48, [1]pp., page of ads at end, 21 original photographs mounted as issued with printed captions including frontispiece and on title-page, image size 15 x 10cm. or smaller, images generally in good condition, mounts generally slightly browned and with occasional light foxing, large 1869 presentation inscription to verso of dedication leaf, original green cloth gilt, a little shaken and worn, spine repaired, all edges gilt.

4to. 28, [2] pp., 12 mounted photographs. Original beveled cloth, gilt. A Very Good copy.

First edition. Folio (36.2 x 26.9 cm). Letterpress title printed in red and black, 4-page Preface. 104 woodburytypes on 29 mounts (some spotting to mounts). Original black diced russia, brass clasps and catches, edges gilt, gilt-stamped on turn in by London agents Stafford & Guy, rebacked, an attractive example.

First edition. 4to, 28 original albumen prints, including frontispiece and title vignette, double-page map of the Oberland, tissue guards, modern dark blue half morocco gilt, marbled sides, original gilt pictorial upper cover bound-in at end, all edges gilt, a fine copy.

Album containing 8 bust-length physionotrace portrait etchings and aquatint with hand-colouring (10 x 11 cm. approx.), by Chretien (2), Queneday (5) and another unsigned, window-mounted, modern half calf, marbled boards, red morocco label.

Octavo (19 x 14.5 cm). Title, [2], 70, [2] pp., including 5 mounted albumen prints; very light occasional spotting. Original cloth, gilt-ruled upper cover with photograph of Norham Castle; slightly rubbed.
