First edition, inscribed by the Author to recto of front free endpaper; 4to; numerous illustrations, both in colour and black & white, by the author, slight age-toning, near-fine; publisher's pictorial boards with corresponding dust-jacket, rubbed at extremities, some creasing to upper edge, otherwise very good.

First edition in this format; 16mo; frontispiece and 17 colour illustrations, a very few, minor, light marginal spots to text, shadow of previous retailer's small pencil markings to upper margin of upper endpapers, some discolouration from stitching to fold of pp 36-37, else near-fine; publisher's red boards mounted with colour illustration, slight darkening and rubbing to spine with some loss to white of lettering, otherwise the front cover is very bright and overall a very good copy.

First edition; 8vo; cover designs and nine illustrations by Henry Holiday, toned, some foxing, mainly to first few pages, less so elsewhere, upper hinge repaired; publisher's cream cloth, age-wear, darkened to spine and extremities, otherwise very good; xi, [3], 83, [3]pp. including one page of advertisements.

First edition of the author's final book for children, published posthumously, 4to., colour illustrations by Patrick Benson throughout, original pictorial boards, dust-jacket, laminated and stuck down at pastedowns, otherwise very good.

First Australian edition; 4to; illustrations and pictorial endpapers, gift inscription dated Christmas 1943 to verso of front free endpaper, small closed tear to foot of same; publisher's cloth-backed pictorial boards, minor rubbing to extremities, small scratch to upper cover, but otherwise a better copy than many.
