First edition in book form, first issue (with 'visiter' for 'sister' on p. 123 and 'latter' for 'letter', 'flys' for 'flies' on p. 245, and 'visiters' for 'visitors' on p. 272); 8vo; engraved portrait of Dickens after Daniel Maclise and 39 engraved plates by H.K. Browne [Phiz], some minor toning and a few spots to plates, otherwise bright; later full polished tan calf by Morrell, gilt-ruled borders, raised bands, gilt spine compartments, gilt-rolled edges, gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, a few minor marks, otherwise a very handsome copy.

First edition, 8vo., [xvi], 89, [3] pp., with frontispiece and 25 plates, with headpieces and other illustrations by Thomson in text, partially unopened; publisher's maroon cloth gilt, bevelled edges, top edge gilt, printed dust-wrapper; slight rubbing at extremities, wrapper somewhat chipped, otherwise a very good copy.

8vo; signed presentation copy from Queen Victoria to the Rev. George Prothero, Vicar of Whippingham Church with her inscription on fly-leaf, frontispiece portrait of Prince Albert, natural toning throughout, very faint spotting to frontispiece and fly-leaves, else very good; publisher's cream pebble-grained cloth, gilt stamp crest on upper cover, top edge gilt, others uncut, slightly soiled, darkened, mostly to spine but wholly original and strong, overall very good.

First edition, 2 volumes in 1, 8vo. xii, [11], 171; [vi], 164 pp., complete with half-titles, vignettes to title-pages and 10 hand coloured plates, a little offsetting to text and occasional marginal soiling and staining, contemporary calf-backed marbled boards, vellum tips, green morocco lettering piece, a very good example.

3 vols, large paper copy, 4to, printed in English & Portuguese, frontispieces and plates on mounted india paper, some browning to and offsetting from plates, silk endpapers, specially bound in full contemporary red velvet with gilt-stamped coat-of-arms of the Royal house of Portugal to covers and morocco lettering pieces on spines, cracking to one hinge but overall an impressive set.

First UK edition, 8vo., one of 4000, one corner crease to page 9, otherwise very good, modern full blue morocco, one-line gilt-panelled back, floral Japanese endpapers, a very handsome copy.

26 volumes, 8vo., copy of the 1907 edition, Preface by the Author, modern half navy-blue morocco with maroon letting pieces gilt, foliate endpapers and all edges gilt, a fine set.

4 volumes, 8vo., engraved frontispiece, 4 engraved plates (1 folding), fine polished calf, spines gilt in compartments with red and green labels to each, marbled edges and endpapers, a fine set.
