Private Press & Fine Printing

The tradition of fine printing has been kept alive thanks to the efforts of private presses, who’ve preserved the traditions of fine book production in general, including book illustration and binding. Shapero Rare Books focuses on the leading presses of the late 19th/early 20th century in particular, namely the Kelmscott Press, Doves Press and Ashendene Press, but also buy & sell key special editions by the other renowned presses including Nonesuch and Golden Cockerel.

Contact Angus Robb or Roddy Newlands for more information about private press & fine printing at Shapero Rare Books.
