Landscape folio (35 x 50 cm); lithographed title, engraved map hand-coloured in outline and index leaf, and 43 lithographed plates after various artists including Orlowskiy, Alexandrov and Kollman, with captions in French, a few with minor foxing, ink inscription to title-page; contemporary half calf, upper cover with trimmed upper wrapper laid down, dust-jacket and slipcase.

  2. First edition, 4to; presentation copy, inscribed 'To the Hon.ble the Lord Woodhouselee from his sincere friend the Editor by the hands of his brother. Marie Guthrie' on front free endpaper, ownership inscription of Alexander Fraser Tytler on title, 2 folding engraved maps, 3 engraved plates, numerous illustrations in text of medals and 8 full-page, some very slight spotting, modern calf-backed marble boards, black label and gilt title, a very good copy.

  3. First edition; folio (38.5 x 16 cm); 111p., 55 partly coloured lithographed plates, some double page, large geological coloured map; contemporary quarter red morocco over marbled boards, label and gilt tooling to spine, a fine copy.

  4. First edition. Two parts in one volume large folio (61.8 x 44 cm). First part: 23 leaves numbered I-XXIX (3rd leaf = III, IV, 4th = V, VI, 7th = IX, X, XII (XI not used), 9th = XIV, XV, XVI, plate XXI i & XXI ii) being title, chromo-lithograph dedication and plates of medals, arms and regimental flags; Second part: 56 lithographs of costumes printed in colour by Godard and finished by hand; occasional marginal spotting; contemporary green half morocco, flat spine with compartments decorated and lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt edges; slightly rubbed, corners a bit bumped.

  5. Limited edition, no. 122 of 250 copies out of a total edition of 500; tall 8vo (27 x 18.5 cm); 87 pp., with 3 plates and tipped-in illustrations. Original wrappers.

  6. Four hand-coloured lithographs mounted with gilt border, with titles and captions in German (50 x 40 cm mounted).

  7. 8vo. xvi, 339, 16 [advertisement] pp. with one folding map, 9 lithographs of which 4 are chromolithographs including 1 folding; occasional light spotting; booklabel to upper pastedown and large library label to upper fly-leaf (Norfolk and Norwich Library). Red publisher's cloth blind stamped, spine lettered in gilt; spine faded, joints splitting.

First edition; folio (53 x 34 cm); 100 lithographed plates on India paper, 1 unnumbered lithographed title (between plates 69 and 70) + 13 duplicates (plates 42, 44, 48, 73 other title and on china, 75 other title and on china, 77, 84, and 6 duplicates and other states in the portrait section): 114 plates in total; 19-century quarter brown morocco over marbled boards by Leon Lemardeley of Paris, spine in six compartments, letters gilt to second, raised bands, top edge gilt; extremities rubbed. Large damp-stain in the top margin of several leaves towards the end, otherwise a very clean copy.

First edition; elephant folio (73.6 x 54 cm); title, dedication leaf, 4pp. of text, 10 plates with tissue guards on China paper with full margins by Cadolle lithographed by Deroy, Joly, Lemaitre, Fragonard, Renoux, Jacottet, Dupressoir and others, subscriber's list, text foxed, some spotting to plates; contemporary half red morocco and red boards, spine with gilt tooling, some wear to spine, corners bumped.

  10. Eight hand-coloured aquatint plates engraved by by Clark and Dubourgh after Mornay, captions in English and French, all with watermark J Whatman 1820/1821/1825
