The work contains essays by Sergei Tretyakov, David Burliuk, Tatyana Tolstaya and Sergei Rafalovich in tribute to the poet Aleksei Kruchenykh. The title for the publication was inspired by Kruchenykh's literary gatherings in the city of Tiflis (Tbilisi). Burliuk aimed to distinguish Russian Futurism as a distinct literary and artistic movement and these essays highlight the radical nature of the group's writing.

There are three lithographs within the text by Gustav Klutsis and Ivan Kliun, both well-known Constructivist artists.
