Charles Mozin (1806-1862) first painted historical paintings and battle scenes of the French Revolution before devoting himself to the landscape of the Normandy coast, specifically the town of Trouville-sur-Mer. This series of lithographs depict boats in and out the water and charming scenes of everyday activities of seafarers and fishermen.
