Collection of opera watercolours costume designs.

An attractive collection of delicate and detailed costume watercolours, made for the celebrated nineteenth century operetta 'La Belle Helene' by Jacques Offenbach. The costumes depict all the main character roles such as Helen of Troy, Paris, Agamenon and Menelaus as well as nearly 30 designs for the chorus including dancers, workers and soldiers.
Each watercolour has caption of the role and has the signature of the artist in pencil 'Gücs' .
