A fabulous and serious study, by that wonderful English surrealist performer and artist, of the art scene of the Sixties in which he played a greater part than one might imagine. With the author's signed presentation inscription to the first leaf, 'for Nik [Cohn] (young lion) from George (ancient tiger) Oct/70'. Cohn was a critic whose book Pop From the Beginning is twice quoted in these pages. This is a very good book!
