Proceedings of the Levant Company, respecting the Surrender of their Charters, 1825.

The second work concerning trade with the Levant shows the increase in commercial activity between Great Britain and Turkey and Egypt. It was felt that a burden on the British merchants was the Charter of the company requiring them to maintain their own consuls and officers abroad. If the Charter was surrendered, trade and profit would be increased as a result of the Government taking over these responsibilities. Scarce.

Not ascribed to Lord Grenville (1759-1834) in the BL catalogue but the inscription strongly implies the work is by him.
