Limited edition of 652 copies in total, this one part of the 250 reserved for subscribers of the work, numbered and signed by the author.
This brilliant work by British historian Anthony Hobson (1921-2014) finally casts the light on one of the biggest mysteries in the history of bookbinding. Digging through archives and with a thorough work of analyse, Hobson managed to identify the original owner of the dispersed Apollo and Pegasus-bound collection of about 200 works, of which only about 150 remain today.
The work contains the results of Hobson's research, a detailed bibliography of the Apollo and Pegasus bindings, and various appendixes.
