An uncommon book in dust jacket, strikingly similar to, and coeval with, Malcolm Lowry's first book Ultramarine (1933). Waterfront was the source book for the British-made Film Noir 'Waterfront' ('Waterfront Women' in the US) which starred Richard Burton.

Inscribed to Irish writer and Director of the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, Conal (O'Riordan) and his wife Olga, dated 8th of January 1934. Very scarce signed.
