A very attractive, country house copy of Rennell's survey of northern India.

first published in 1783. During his survey, Rennell travelled in Bhutan and was the first person to determine correctly the course of the Tsangpo river into the Brahmaputra. Includes his Account of the countries between Hindoostan and China, and Account of the Ganges and Burrampooter Rivers.
