  3. First edition, number 43 of 175 copies; 8vo; title printed in red & black, marbled cockerel endpapers; publisher's yellow buckram, top edge gilt, others uncut, in original acetate dust-jacket with some loss.

  4. First edition; 8vo; publisher's blue cloth, printed paper label, Ex-Libris to upper pastedown, in exceptionally fine state, preserved in folding chemise and custom slip-case.

  5. First edition, first impression; one of 110 numbered copies signed by the author. Additionally inscribed by Douglas. 4to. Publisher's yellow cloth, title to upper board in red. Some minor toning but a lovely copy.

  6. First edition, first impression; 8vo; ownership inscription to front free endpaper date 'Day of Publication' with a poem written out in pencil beneath, foxing to endpapers; publisher's grey cloth, titles to spine in red, with the dust jacket. A very good copy in the tanned and little marked and stained dust jacket.

  7. First edition, first impression; 8vo; publisher's black cloth, titles to spine gilt, with the dust jacket; some minor spotting to the end leaves as usual but an excellent copy in the little rubbed and slightly faded dust jacket with a couple of pieces of internal tape.

  8. First edition, first printing; 8vo; publisher's green cloth, titles to upper board and spine gilt, top edge gilt; with the dust jacket; cloth a little mottled as usual but an excellent copy in the rather worn, rubbed, chipped and internally repaired dust jacket.

  9. First edition, first issue; 8vo (200 x 135 mm); a few random spots, pencil ownership inscription dated 1914 to front free endpaper and scholarly notes to rear fly-leaf in the same hand (pencil), dated 13.III.14; publisher's bronze pebbled cloth, some light fading to spine and covers, minor dent to spine, spine ends and corners a little bumped, a bright and excellent example overall; ix [2] 2-50, [2 including one advertisement] pp.

  10. First edition, first printing; 8vo; 3 plates from drawings by the author, contemporary ink name to front free endpaper, overall internally very good; original cloth-backed boards, gilt title to upper cover, spine slightly dulled as oft, but overall very good, dust-jacket somewhat marked and frayed with some loss to folds, edges and corners as well as central section of the spine.
