First edition. 2 volumes, folio, half-titles, additional chromolithographed title bound before plates in volume one, 152 lithographed plates (on 149 sheets), 8 of them coloured, modern brown half morocco gilt, plates 18 & 19 lightly browned, plate 147 with traces of old creases and short marginal tears closed, else a fine clean set.

First work: 2 vols, lithographed frontispiece in each volume, 20 plates, 4 folding plans, a folding map and numerous illustrations in the text; Second work, 2 vols, 14 engraved plates and plans, many folding, 2 folding maps, text illustrations throughout, uniformly bound in contemporary polished calf gilt, Assyrian pictorial gilt decoration to covers, a fine set.

40 volumes, quarto, complete run of the first of 39 volumes plus the special atlas to accompany volumes 29 & 30, all first editions save the first two volumes which are later reprints, profusely illustrated with photographic illustrations and maps, original blue cloth gilt, some spines a little faded, overall an excellent run.

First edition. 3 volumes, folio (66 x 52 cm), [viii]; [viii]; [viii] pp., with 200 lithographed plates, 130 in colour, 48 tinted (all mounted on tabs) some light scattered foxing throughout, text volume with 34 plates and 73 text illustrations; bound in contemporary brown morocco backed marbled boards, spine gilt lettered with raised bands; overall a very attractive example.

First edition. 2 volumes, folio. limited edition to 500 copies. 172 large collotype plates with tissue guards including three folding panoramas. Original embroidered silk portfolio in cardboard boxes (worn with old repairs). Minor rubbing to edges of portfolio, but overall a very good copy. Separate volume of text in English and Japanese in original cream wrappers.

Second edition. 2 volumes, folio (42 x 28 cm), viii, 1-712; [xii], 713-1410 pp., engraved allegorical headpiece and 124 engraved plates and plans (the 122 called for in Adams plus St Luke's Hospital and Trinity Alms Houses at page 1288), some folding, oversize corners folded at page 1304 and plate of Guy's Hospital, small ink stains page 893, contemporary sprinkled calf gilt, neat repairs to joints, 2 labels renewed, a very attractive example.

Ten parts, landscape elephant folio (39.4 x 51.7 cm), text in German and French, 60 hand-coloured lithographed plates, hand-coloured lithographed pictorial title and dedication page; hand-coloured pictorial wrappers, occasional light spotting.

First and only edition. 4to (27 x 22 cm). Title +18 pp., Original brown paper wrappers stitched in brown cotton, subscription slip for Unedited Antiquities of Attica, dated 1816, mounted on upper cover.
