Limited edition, one of 200 copies on Japanese Ho-sho paper, from a total edition of 350; two parts in one volume; 8vo, (26.5 x 19 cm); text in French, 28 colour woodblock illustrations, including frontispieces, additional black illustrations throughout text, red velvet endpapers; publisher's red morocco, pictorial covers, top edge gilt, gilt lettering to spine, modern dustjacket in red half-morocco, modern red morocco bordered slipcase, overall an excellent copy.

First edition, sole impression, one of 200 copies on 'small paper', from an overall limitation of 225; small 4to (220 x 170 mm); printed in black, green & sepia on Arnold's handmade paper, some with the Vale Press watermark, pictorial title-page and 9 full-page illustrations in sepia, decorative initials printed in green, all by Charles Ricketts, original vellum with gilt designs by Ricketts to covers and spine. Housed in a quarter morocco slipcase. Rockwell Kent designed bookplate to front paste down, very light spotting to some pages, boards a little bowed as usual, gilt to spine rather dull. Very good.

Limited edition, one of 120 named examples on vélin teinté d'Arches printed for the members of the Lyon society, this example for Maurice Méric, 4to (25.5 x 20 cm); 54 illustrations in colour, drawn and engraved by Schmied (of which 26 are full-page); brown morocco binding, signed and dated 1998 by Honneger, with an abstract rectangle design to the covers, made up of red, green and brown morocco and yellow shagreen, with gilt lines, morocco doublures with gilt detail and cream suede guards, original wrappers bound in, in a morocco backed, brown suede lined, cloth clamshell box with gilt title to spine, an excellent copy.

First editions, first vol. signed and with autograph letter from the author; 6 vols, 8vo (215 x 155); maps and illustrations; uniformly bound in red crushed morocco by Bayntun, sides with gilt rule border and emblem on upper covers, spines gilt with raised bands, morocco turn-ins gilt, original dust-jackets bound in at the rear, top edges gilt, these a little scratched, otherwise a fine set.

Folio (41.4 x 26.8 cm.), two title-pages, text in two columns, ruled in red, two printed title-pages, extra-illustrated with 213 engraved plates (29 double-page), marbled endpapers, some minor marginal staining to some plates, bookplates; bound in contemporary navy morocco gilt with the arms of the second duke of Newcastle, all edges gilt, the border beautifully decorated with an elaborate gilt design , spines also gilt in compartments, gilt edges, bindings slightly faded, extremities very slightly rubbed; otherwise an excellent copy.

Limited edition, one of 100 copies on vélin d'arches from a total edition of 425, 4to (28 x 19 cm); 14 etchings after Lobel-Riche, 11 of which are full-page, in three states (black and white, black and white with remarques, in colour with remarques) with an additional refused plate in colour with remarques, some spotting, original green printed wrappers bound in, doublures with green marbled papers, patterned endpapers, a.e.g.; green morocco binding by M. Chabert Fils, morocco onlay design of a woman waiting at the entrance to hotel to the upper cover surrounded by gilt panel and lantern design, small cupid onlay to lower cover with gilt panels, spine with raised bands and gilt tooling and red morocco lantern design, marbled slipcase with green morocco entry, a very good copy.
