Gilbert, offsetting from frontispiece to pictorial title and a few spots to both, otherwise fine; mid-twentieth century full morocco, foliate gilt-panelled, gilt-tooled spine panels and dentelles, mild rubbing to extremities, a very handsome volume.

Large paper edition, number 101 or 150; 3 vols, 4to (240 x 175 mm), engraved frontispieces to each volume, further illustrations in text, title pages in red and black, spotting to preliminary and terminal pages, mostly to endpapers with only the the odd spot any further, corner crease to upper free endpapers of vol. ii, otherwise very good; mid-twentieth century half red morocco over cloth, one-line gilt panelled, top edge gilt, otherwise untrimmed, as published, small bookseller's label of H.V. Day to upper past-down of vol. i, slight dust-soiling to bindings, minor darkening of spines but all in all, very good indeed.

First edition, number 9 of 100 specially bound copies, from an overall limitation of 750; folio (310 x 190 mm.); printed in dark green throughout, wood-engraved frontispiece, title vignette, 6 chapter headings and device, all by John Buckland-Wright, one full-page map of the east coast of Australia; full green morocco, gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, top edge gilt, others uncut, spine very slightly lightened, but otherwise an excellent copy; housed in original cloth slip-case, lightly marked.

Humphreys from a print by Faithorne, title printed in red black, elegant MS presentation to front free endpaper dated 'Xmas 1879', a few random spots to preliminary and terminal leaves, otherwise fine; publisher's full polished calf, gilt-panelled, gilt-tooled spine panels and lettering-piece, marbled endpapers and matching edges, stamped Bickers and Son on verso of upper enpaper, mildly rubbed, a few marks from use, otherwise a most attractive volume in very good order.

Pletnev, 25 hand-coloured full-page lithographs by Ulyanov including a frontispiece, plates on various colour paper, minor staining to text block, title foxed; original hand-coloured lithographic boards dated 1848, spine skilfully rebacked, retaining most of the original design, some wear to boards but overall good copy.
