  1. Second edition, folio (58 x 43.5 cm.), pictorial lithographed title printed in sepia, 28 chromo-lithographed plates, table of contents at end, original cloth gilt, spine faded, an excellent example.

  2. First edition, 8vo, viii, 121, [3]pp., contemporary calf, spine with raised bands, compartments tooled in gilt with acorn device, original red label titled in gilt, a fine copy.

  3. Limited edition, one of 25 copies on japon impérial, from a total edition of 345; 4to (24 x 17 cm); translated by André Gide and Jacques Schiffrin, signed 'J. Sch' on the limitation page, foreword by Gide, illustrations in colour by Shukhaev including 7 plates hors-texte, with two additional suites of 19 illustrations each, loose in a separate portfolio, one in colour on japon and one in black on chine, with tissue guards, a.e.g.; 20th century fine binding by Hélène Cauchetier, full green morocco with original wrappers bound in, upper cover with playing card motif inlay design of various colours, doublures with green patterned paper guards, green marbled endpapers, chemise and slipcase, extra suites in a corresponding chemise, an excellent example.

Title and text in Latin and German, 132 fine hand-coloured etched plates, (11 of mammals, 121 of birds), UNCUT in contemporary calf-backed marbled boards, a little worn, the plates in fine condition with bright colouring, etched by P. Mazell after P. Paillou and others, an excellent copy.

  5. 16 vols in 8 complete set, 8vo, 576 hand-coloured copper plates, some upper hinges split but still firm, some light offsetting and sporadic foxing, mostly light but heavier in a few instances and in the main, not affecting plates; contemporary green morocco gilt, all edges gilt, a very handsome set.

  6. First edition. 4to, [iv], [92], [2], (index) pp., 50 hand-coloured engraved plates all with slight brown toning, contemporary tree calf, red morocco label, neat repairs to joints, a very good example.

  7. First edition, 8vo, viii, 227 pp., folding aquatint frontispiece engraved by William Daniell after General Monteith, large folding map hand-coloured in outline, original reddish-brown cloth, covers faded, rebacked preserving original label, an excellent copy.

Folio (34 x 22.5 cm), [12], 612, [16] pp., additional xylographic allegorical title-page, numerous full-page woodcuts of plants throughout, a few gatherings browned, last leaf trimmed at foot, contemporary sprinkled calf, rebacked, an attractive example.

Folio (39 x 25 cm); [12], 53, [3], 55-271, [3], 273-441, [7] pp., 80 engraved plates comprising 78 plates of birds showing multiple subjects numbered 1-LXXVIII, and 2 un-numbered plates of netting, bookplate, some minor tears to a few pages; occasional light soiling, contemporary calf, neat restoration to edges and extremities, a very good copy.
