Second edition, 8vo, xvi, 488 pp., 4 engraved plates, 4 folding maps (1 with short tears and neat repair to verso), woodcuts in text, nineteenth century tan half morocco gilt, marbled boards, edges sprinkled red, a fine example.

Frame dimensions: 430 × 510 mm (17 × 20 inches). A highly decorative frontispieceý in sepia manuscript, housed within a handsome frame, together with a wash line mount with gilt. Good condition.
