First edition, number 373 of 1000 copies, 2 volumes, 4to, titles printed in red, collotype frontispiece in volume 2, collotype and line facsimiles, illustrations, maps and plans after Lawrence in the text, many full-page, some colour-printed. 2 folding maps after H. Pirie-Gordon contained in a loosely-inserted envelope, original red crushed half morocco over cloth by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, spines gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut, extremities lightly rubbed, cloth lightly marked, but a very nice set.

First edition, first impression, first issue dust-jacket without the Sunday Times review on the upper flap; 8vo. Publisher's black boards, heart device to upper board and titles to spine in red. With the dust jacket. Contemporary gift inscription to front free endpaper, spine just a touch rolled but a particularly bright copy in the internally repaired dust jacket, nicked at the edges and with some minor restoration at the top of the spine panel and a couple of corners.

8vo (210 x 140 mm); frontispiece portrait of the author 'from the painting by Toulouse-Lautrec, 1895'; contemporary full purple calf by Bayntun-Riviere, with double gilt panels, floral hand-tooled spine, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers and all edges gilt, spine and top edges of upper board faded, a few minor scuffs to boards, otherwise very handsome and internally fine.

One volume edition, later issue. Contemporary half green calf, titles and decoration to spine gilt, tan endpapers. Early gift inscription to first blank leaf, with a further neat ownership inscription to the front free endpaper, tips a little rubbed. Very nice.
