First edition, 4 vols; folio (46 x 35.5 cm); 8 hand-coloured engraved titles, 4 engraved leaves of dedication, etched initials and head and tail pieces, 437 etched and engraved plates (of which 182 hand-coloured, 77 double-page or folding), last plate in Vol. III with minor worming, occasional minor spotting or offsetting, a few plates slightly shaved, text in French and English in Vols I-II, English engraved title in Vol. III with repairs to verso; handsome modern red morocco to style by Aquarius, green morocco spine labels; a fine set.

4to album (33 x 26 cm)l; 24 gouaches on pith paper, (each one 30.5 x 20.4 cm) , all mounted on paper and framed with a pale blue silk fabric border; bookplate, 3 plates with small tears ( approx 2 cm length at margins); bound in contemporary patterned decorated silk boards, some pencilling on front pastedown ; overall an attractive copy.

A set of 10 watercolour and gouache studies on pith paper; one with a long horizontal closed tear. Contemporary red patterned silk binding; upper hinge broken and upper cover detached.

First edition; folio (58 x 42.5 cm); two title-pages, dated 1837 and 1839, engraved title, 100 plates (of which 30 are lithographic views); some spotting; contemporary red leather spine over marbled boards, spine in seven parts, corners bumped, loose joints.

Title page and 55 of 56 prints (lacking the station Goyu), each sheet in chuban tate-e format (25 x 18.5cm approx.) Contemporary boards, with fuchsia pink decorative endpapers.

An album of 36 Japanese coloured woodblock prints, oban tate-e (35.5 x 24 cm.) some signed and dated, bound in concertina style with contemporary decorative silk boards; an excellent copy.

Album (24.5 x 13.5 cm) comprising 70 watercolours on paper, many heightened with gold, with inscriptions in Chinese, modern green calf-backed slipcase.
