A great map of London at the very beginning of Victoria's reign - elegantly engraved with fine original hand-colour. It shows the boundaries of The City of London, Southwark and Westminster. The upper right corner has a table listing all the London parishes, these correspond to coloured Roman numerals on the plan.

Originally published in 1828, Cross's popular plan of London ran to numerous editions - the last published in 1864.

Large engraved plan, dissected and mount on linen, folding into original green cloth slipcase, with the publisher's label pasted on. Corners bumped and worn. Dimensions: 630 × 1000mm (24.75 × 39.5 inches).
