BLUNDEN, Edmund.

Christ's Hospital.

A Retrospect.

Stock Code

London, Christophers, 1923
£150

An excellent copy of Blunden's history of one of those truly worthy and typically English institutions; 'In 1909 Edmund moved from the local Grammar School to the boarding school Christ's Hospital in Horsham, Sussex having won a Classics scholarship. Christ's Hospital was a unique school founded by Edward VI for the boys of parents with little or no means.'

Scarce in the dust-jacket.
