Marie Guthrie' on front free endpaper, ownership inscription of Alexander Fraser Tytler on title, 2 folding engraved maps, 3 engraved plates, numerous illustrations in text of medals and 8 full-page, some very slight spotting, modern calf-backed marble boards, black label and gilt title, a very good copy.

Title and text in Latin and German, 132 fine hand-coloured etched plates, (11 of mammals, 121 of birds), UNCUT in contemporary calf-backed marbled boards, a little worn, the plates in fine condition with bright colouring, etched by P. Mazell after P. Paillou and others, an excellent copy.

  4. 12mo., title within woodcut border, first section interleaved with contemporary blank leaves (ýas issued, for notes &c.), contemporary silk endpapers with contemporary vanity mirror within metal frame inset to front pastedown, text-block cleanly separated from binding, contemporary silk binding with elaborate silk brocade decorations and inlaid mother-of-pearl oval centrepiece to each cover, superficial loss to silk at spine and a few other places, but overall a very good example, gilt edges.
