30 volumes (complete); 8vo; variously illustrated in black & white by George Cruikshank, G. Cattermole, Robert Seymour and 'Phiz' (Hablot Knight Browne) and others, varying degrees of foxing to most of the preliminary and terminal pages, occasional spotting elsewhere but in the main, bright; contemporary half calf over cockerel paper covered boards, matching endpapers and all edges similarly marbled, spines with very fine gilt, rubbed at extremities, minor abrasions to some edges, otherwise a very good, original set.

First edition. 8vo, viii, 174 pp., 10 pages of ads at end, photographic frontispiece, fine original green decorative cloth gilt, bevelled boards, edges red, short splits to rear inner hinge but firm, an excellent copy.

Ninth edition. xliv, 423 pp, 21 maps, 7 town plans, 7 panoramas ( some coloured), previous owner's inscription inside on half title; publisher's old type red cloth gilt, slightly worn at corners and top and bottom of spine; overall a near fine copy.

36 issues bound in one volume, 4to, (25.7 x 19.8 cm); 36 full-page graphic pictorial covers, scattered foxing, some toning to leaves, a few short closed edge tears, 3 sections of news article on boxing pasted to rear blank flyleaves; contemporary half brown leather, pebbled cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine, a few minor spots to covers, some material loss to foot of spine, light rubbing to extremities, overall a very good copy; 288pp.

8vo (205 x 155 mm); illustrated as detailed above; modern half crimson morocco over red cloth, gilt spine, marbled endpapers and top edge gilt.

Small folio, (39 x 29 cm); text in German, plates laid onto thick card with ornamental red border, edges gilt, publisher's pictorial red boards (restored, with a strip pastedown to spine) gilt, floral ornaments. Pages foxed (not affecting plates), one plate partially detached. Previous owner's signature to front endpaper.

First edition, 8vo (20.5 x 13 cm); xiv, 96; 291, [7] pp.; contemporary polished calf, gilt, contrasting red morocco lettering-piece, eighteenth-century ink inscription to front and pastedowns; corners rubbed, first two leaves and the last leaf with restored tears (with minor text loss), browning to leaves, good copy.

Second edition, 8vo, (207 x 130 mm); [7], 5-127, [56] ll. contemporary calf, with green and gilt name plate and title, marbled endpapers. Special dedication page. Pages crisp, with some minor browning. Text in Hebrew and English. A fine copy.

First edition. Six volumes (separate volume for the five scrolls); octavo, (19.5 x 13 cm). Two title pages - Hebrew and English to each of the first five volumes. Sixth vol. published with the Hebrew title page only and a divisional Hebrew-English title page for each scroll. Hebrew title pages are engraved by Solomon Polack. Staining and browning to pages, repaired tears to some pages. The five scrolls vol. contains illustration plate depicting the ten sons of Haman hanged. Recent marbled boards with black spines and gilt ornaments to the first five volumes; contemporary brown boards with gilt ornaments to the sixth volume, significantly rubbed and cracked (but holding).

Second edition; 2 vols, folio, (67.1 x 51.2 cm); engraved author portrait, 86 hand-coloured engraved plates, 2 plain engraved folding plates, 3 further plates loosely inserted in volume 2 (comprising duplicates of author portrait, 'Pinus Lambertiana', and 'Araucaria Imbricata'), scattered spotting, transfer from illustrations onto facing leaves, both folding plates creased with closed tears at folds; contemporary red half morocco over marbled boards, leaves uncut, extremities rubbed.
