Some mild toning to the contents, a number of interesting contemporary pencil notes to a few pages, boards a little browned as often, very good ion the nicked, toned and lightly rubbed dust jacket with some archival tape reinforcement at the top edge.

First trade edition, first printing following the limited edition original, inscribed presentation copy signed by the author, 8vo. Publisher's white paper wrappers printed in black and blue. Wrappers somewhat marked, contents a little browned as always. An excellent copy.

New impression, inscribed by the author; 8vo; frontispiece and a further 15 illustrations with captioned tissue-guards, the occasional minor mark or spot, hinge split at title but holding, otherwise very good; publisher's quarter cloth over paper-covered boards, worn, with abrasions, red-dot affixed to spine, slight cocking, offsetting to free endpapers, otherwise sound and robust.
