  1. First edition. Folio (58 x 43.5 cm), lithographed title (a little paper adhesion) and 39 tinted lithographs by J.B. Kuhn after von Hess, within decorative sepia borders with captions in Greek, French, German and English, later cloth preserving original upper cloth cover.

Folio (55.6 x 37.2 cm.), 26 lithographs on 20 sheets (including pictorial title), all hand-coloured as issued, short tears repaired to plates 13 & 18 not touching image, light finger soiling to a few margins, text and plates guarded throughout, original pictorial red cloth gilt, rather worn, corners repaired, neatly rebacked modern red half calf gilt, a very good copy of a scarce item.

(21.5 x 31.5 cm) , 20 chromolithographs after Simkin, including title-page vignette, extra-illustrated with the complete set of 20 original watercolour drawings by Simkin, handsomely bound by Riviere in full crushed red levant morocco, gilt extra, broad gilt inner dentelles, all edges gilt, slipcase, joints lightly rubbed, a unique item in fine condition.

  6. 2 volumes, Folio(44 x 35 cm), each consisting of 2 leaves, printed entirely on vellum within fancy gilt borders, each with respective coat-of-arms to head, original red (and green) straight-grained morocco gilt, both volumes signed by the respective Clerks to the House, with a hand-written letter from Lord Kitchener to Colonel Long.
