8vo, one of only 350 copies, viii, 176pp., large folding map in pocket, original printed boards, rebacked, ex-libris Royal Artillery Institution, Woolwich with bookplate and stamps, covers worn.

Hand coloured engraved map. The map shows the extent 30° north and south of the Equator in which sugar is grown. Australia is still shown as New Holland. 29.8 cm x 23.7 cm (11¾' x 9¼'). Framed and glazed.

Copper engraving, in original wash colour, dissected and mounted on linen, folding into the original green marbled slipcase with paper label, the map, widest: 491 x 615 mm.
