First edition; 4to, (28 x 22 cm); dedication and advertisement leaves, 100 hand-coloured engraved plates after Hayes, his wife and children, without the frontispiece plate (as often), some offsetting to prelims, leaves slightly toned; crushed green morocco gilt by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, spine gilt in compartments with bird motifs, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, an excellent example.

Second edition; 2 vols, folio, (67.1 x 51.2 cm); engraved author portrait, 86 hand-coloured engraved plates, 2 plain engraved folding plates, 3 further plates loosely inserted in volume 2 (comprising duplicates of author portrait, 'Pinus Lambertiana', and 'Araucaria Imbricata'), scattered spotting, transfer from illustrations onto facing leaves, both folding plates creased with closed tears at folds; contemporary red half morocco over marbled boards, leaves uncut, extremities rubbed.

First edition (Italian text version); 14 vols bound in 18 [with] 4 supplementary volumes, 22 in total; large 4to; illustrated with 6 large folding maps, 1640 aquatint plates, of which 1517 are hand-coloured, various tables, etc., portrait of Francis I replaced with an emblematic portrait of 'Terra', occasional short closed tears (not affecting plates), scattered light foxing, plates slightly toned, 2 vols heavily toned; contemporary vellum-backed maroon boards, red and green morocco spine labels with gilt lettering, a very good set.

Folio, (40.5 x 29 cm); text in English and French, title and spine dated 1766 but actually 1794 (1794 watermarked paper), additional hand-coloured decorative title, hand-coloured engraved frontispiece, 44 hand-coloured engraved plates, scattered light foxing (not affecting plates), occasional light marginal dust-staining (not affecting illustrations), ex libris to front free endpaper; contemporary red half morocco over marbled boards, spine gilt in compartments, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, corners slightly rubbed, an excellent copy; iv, 145, [iv, index]pp.

Original hand-coloured aquatint engraving on Whatman wove paper for Oriental Scenery. Colours bright and fresh. Fine condition. Framed and glazed, overall size: 82cm x 66cm x 4cm.

First edition; 2 vols, 8vo, (24.6 x 15.5 cm); 104 hand-coloured stipple engraved illustrations of fruit on 98 plates, including 7 folding, scattered light spotting, occasional offsetting, some plates trimmed by the binder (as usual); contemporary green morocco, blind and gilt embossed, all edges gilt, corners slightly rubbed, overall a very good copy of a scarce work; vii, [iv], 96; 104pp.

Specially printed offprint from The Ibis, 8vo, 45 pp. numbered 382-425 pp., 3 hand-coloured lithographs by and after Keulemans, original green cloth gilt, a fine copy.

M. Coad, Gloucester' to head and slightly creased (reinforced at inner edge), contents leaf remargined, light offsetting from plates, bookseller's ticket of J. Needham of Gloucester, contemporary half black calf, spine gilt, rubbed, a very good copy, plates clean and fresh.

Folio (48.5 x 31.5 cm), engraved additional title dated 1821, coloured by hand, 50 hand-coloured engraved plates, text in English and French; nineteenth century green polished half calf gilt, red morocco label, presented in original cloth backed slipcase, a fine clean copy.

First edition; 2 vols, 4to; 124 hand-coloured plates, occasional mild spotting otherwise very good; contemporary half green calf, maroon lettering-pieces gilt, all edges marbled, mild dust-soiling and darkening commensurate with age, rubbed at extremities, bumper on corners but otherwise a very good set.
